When you take your car into a dealership or a franchised repair shop, you are just another customer, a number on an invoice. At Hackney Automotive the staff is competent, honest, and will make sure you understand what your car needs and doesn't attempt to "sell" you any unnecessary repairs. I was preparing to go on a long trip and expected to receive a long, expensive list of items needing to be fixed, but the staff at Hackney Automotive assured me that a few maintenance items were all I needed to safely make the long drive. I was extremely happy with their level of customer service and the excellent work that was done on my car.

I have done business with Linda and Mark for over eight years. If you take your vehicle to Hackney's you will find they are honest, up front, and dependable. If Mark tells you your car or truck needs something it is because it really needs it. He will see that everything is done to give you top performance and not to just run up your bill. The dealer told me my Mercury Grand Marquis need a transmission repair of about $2,500.00. I went to Hackney's. Mark remembered a service bulletin that had been issued for my car. As a result of that he repaired it for less than $300.00 and it still runs perfectly. I saved over $2,200.00! That's a lot of Bud Lite! Take your car or truck there; you will be glad you did.
Honest Mechanics and Fast Service!

I took my car in to Hackney after it started stalling on me. I had noticed earlier in the day that the temperature gauge stayed on cold and planned to take the car in to have it checked but with the stalling I didn’t have time to delay. Anyway, I called them and told them what the car was doing and what I had noticed about the temp gauge. I was able to get the car to start and drove it in to them they even agreed to stay late because I was driving from Kyle. They took the car in and I was able to get a rental from Enterprise. The next day they called me to tell me what the problem was and explained it in detail but in a basic way that I could understand. It all tied in to the gauge thing. Anyway they told me what needed to be repaired, what the cost would be, and that the car would be ready later that afternoon. I asked if I needed to have my transmission fluid flushed and they told me it looked good so there was no need to do it right now. Honesty! Can you believe it? I am so happy that I have found them and highly recommend them.
